The Reflections Legacy
Jan. 10th, 2019 12:37 amFlow's relationship with his legacy-mates, to be updated as the legacy is built
[ALLY] Abric Solari
starcrossedscoundrel: Flow's friend, and sort of a big brother figure. He rarely sees him because of his job taking him all over space, but they've had a tradition of sharing at least one meal together whenever they're on the same planet. Abric is willing to put up with Flow's tendency to ramble, and in turn Flow raptly listens to all the places Abric has been in his career. They met over chasing a pair of thieves, and Abric started the tradition by treating Flow and his master at the time to a meal. Has a chip on his shoulder because his husband turned out to be an Imperial spy, and is constantly warning Flow not to trust anyone from the Empire. Flow is not so sure about painting everyone over there with such broad strokes.
As of mid-act 1: Seems to blame himself for the decline in Flow's mental health. Flow insists it isn't his fault, but lacks the energy to argue further.
Natirru
starcrossedspy: Flow has never actually met Natirru. He only knows of him through his friendship with Abric, but because he only met with Abric when his work took him to the same planet, he was never in the company of his husband. From Abric's descriptions at the time, Flow thought he sounded like a good man. When Abric revealed that "Atir" had not, in fact, died, Flow was taken aback. But it also painted this sudden patriotism - or anti-imperialism at least - in a better light. Flow (correctly) believes Abric's hatred to be hyperbolic, but doesn't know what to make of his clearly mixed feelings towards Natirru. His friend is confused and hurt and he doesn't know how to help him. He holds on to hope that Abric's claims that Natirru never loved him were false, because he is a romantic fool. He wants to find him and settle this somehow, but spies are by definition hard to find when they don't want to be found.
As of the end of act 1, has met Natirru and believes his intentions to be good.
[???] Oberon Malo
freedomevades: A very strange Sith with a heavy sense of honor and an easy, playful croon in his voice that is at odds with the sense of wary jadedness in his eyes. He has challenged Flow to duels a few times now, but only recently gave his name. These "duels" aren't really such - there's never any real intent to kill from him, so Flow follows suit, and they've become more like sparring sessions. Oberon talks to him during these, but never about himself - always questions about him, or his life - never anything sensitive or secret. As if mixing curiosity with combat is all he knows. Flow can sense from him that the curiosity is not only real, but something clung to like a lifeline. What is he so desperately searching for? Why from him? Abric has guessed he's associated with Natirru, because there's little other reason for a Sith to show such specific interest so early on, but Oberon has always declined to answer. Developed a romantic relationship with him throughout the course of their stories.
